Do any of your tinctures contain alcohol?

Nope - they sure don’t! We use organic vegetable glycerin, organic apple cider vinegar (with mother), and cold pressed carrier oils like castor, avocado, sunflower, and olive oil for our salves. We want to make sure everyone in your family can take the tinctures - children, and pets included!

What about the FDA?

None of our statements, or healthy options are verified or approved by the FDA. However, the FDA has approved the use of the ingredients we use in our tinctures for the drug corporations to synthesize in order to create the medicines that are marketed on TV, online, and in your doctors’ offices. We have natural medicine all a round us that we’ve been told shouldn’t be used because it hasn’t been approved by the FDA. But thousands of years of indigenous knowledge says otherwise, and it doesn’t have the side effects that the fine print talks about in Western Medicine “treatments”. We believe that there is a place for both Western Medicine, and plant medicine that is here for everyone all around us. The plant medicine that grows naturally doesn’t create customers though - you being sick and running to the doctor does, and brings in a lot of $$$ for drug companies.

Are you doctors?

No - we are partners, parents, and animal lovers that started out looking for a better way to keep ourselves, our children, and our animals healthier rather than running to the doctor for everything. We (YOU) have the right to take our health into our own hands rather than let someone or a business entity ((most hospitals and medical offices are for profit)) who is being given kickbacks to sell their treatments that can make you more sick, and sell you another pill or injection to counteract those symptoms.

Can you use tinctures externally?

Yes! That is one of the fantastic things about our tinctures that are made only from glycerin - you can use it on your skin! I wouldn’t recommend using the glycerites made with ACV - it may sting a little.

Can you teach me how to make my own tinctures, build a garden, rewild my own place on this beautiful earth?

Absolutely! We would love to share this information with you! You can also find a lot of great books by amazing authors that will walk you through step-by-step. We are here to help - not to make a profit off of you. If you’d like to work with us, we would love that! We have bills to pay as well - but we want this information in your hands in anyway that you can obtain it that is comfortable for you.

what do you mean: you don’t want to make a profit from me?

We are here for service. We think everyone should have access to this knowledge and be brave enough to explore their existence rather than being trapped by what we are told to think is the truth (in any sense, not just medicine, or food, but everything) that the powers that be preach to us in order to have a “better life”. We work multiple jobs in order to pay our bills.

Would we love to do this full time?

Yes! One million times over, yes!!! We would LOVE to be able to cut the cords with the other ways we have to make money in order to pay our bills. That is our dream. But we also understand this is a very small market, and not everyone is ready for this way of living. We also won’t market ourselves on social media - there is enough of that, and social media is built to sell and keep you feeling sad and angry, and keep you a consumer in this capitalistic driven world, and the algorithm is there to help keep you in line, and against your neighbor. “I only watch kitten videos” What about the ads you see, what about the videos that aren’t about kittens that are thrown in once-in-a-while that you eventually keep seeing? If you’re being honest - you know it happens (I used to watch only kitten videos too…). Social media, and mainstream media keeps you a consumer, it keeps you scared and angry, and it keeps the money flowing to big corporations. We want our neighbors to still be able to disagree with each other - but have a conversation, shake hands, and still have BBQs together, and come to a mutual understanding that even though we disagree on a few things, that we agree on most things. We have lost the art of having a conversation. That’s a long, roundabout way to say we are here for service and to help. Probably. We want you to live unencumbered by those in charge telling you what to think, and to keep buying to keep the $$$ rolling in. Maybe I should make this into a blog post!

Who is this handsome devil, King Tucker Carlson?

Tucker Carlson is our big, handsome Red Bourbon tom. We adopted him a couple of years ago to keep our Queen T company, and sire the next turkey chicks at Rewilding Farm. He likes to take long walks in the yard, eat all the grass he can get his beak on, take dust baths in the most inconvenient of places, chase the ducks, keep our roosters in check and is a great daddy to his babies. We have added some Narragansett females to our ever expanding flock so that we can have some beautiful Red Bourbon x Narragansett chicks!
